Sammy turned six months old on the 24th of this month! He got to spend the weekend before that with some of his aunts and uncles in Syracuse. Unfortunately, we forgot the camera, so no pictures of that.
We do, however, have his monthly comparison shots.
Here he is at five months, four months, three months and two months, and one month.
And what new milestones do we have?
-He can get up on his hands and news for a few seconds from his stomach, or tip forward on his hands and knees briefly from a sitting position
-Can stand for long periods of time assisted (holding onto his crib) as long as he doesn't get distracted
-Recognizes his name and turns toward whoever said it (including aunts and uncles)
-Grabs his poor cousin when he walks by him
-Initiates peek-a-boo and laughs out loud when someone joins him (as he ducked behind the pillow playing with Auntie Anna on Saturday)
-Eats solids every couple of days - He loves bananas, carrots, and PEAS (his favorite). Sweet potatoes and applesauce are more iffy.
-Has his two bottom front teeth
-Sleeps again at night!!!
